OTIS and the Ignition Locker:

 

Beautifully complimenting OTIS is some trusty old school technology. The ignition locker is yet another valuable component employed by OTIS. This feature will disable a vehicle after detecting a preprogrammed individually calibrated BAC level. Technology similar to that of a breathalyzer the Ignition Locker will measure BAC levels. Simultaneously retrieving, evaluating, and responding according to a set series of instructions broken down into phases and escalating up to and including vehicle disablement for set period/s of time.

 

Any attempt to manipulate or by-pass OTIS will be detected and avoidance measures to combat this possibility are in place. Honking horn, flashing lights, and total vehicle disablement are only a few attitude adjusters and deterrents that will circumvent the situation. The use of fuel cell technology will virtually eliminate the possibility of false readings caused by non-alcohol substances or heavy smoking. FACT: most current traffic laws have nothing to do with public safety and is a primary causative factor behind the deaths on our roadways. History clearly reflects that using tax funded law enforcement officers, as mere bird dogs, to increase surcharges for insurance companies and billable hours for attorneys doesn't actually save lives.

 

In other words, without current traffic laws blocking natural progression, mandates to create safer vehicles would be enacted and roads would become safer, much safer. Bottom-line, this would easily reduce vehicle accidents and save the lives of tens of thousands of people and also decrease the insurance industry's financial costs by hundreds of billions of dollars year, after year.
